Tributes pour in for loved Edinburgh local known as the 'Rabbie Burns of Leith'

Tributes are pouring in for an Edinburgh man who was known as the 'Rabbie Burns of Leith'.

A keen painter and writer, Garry Miller sadly passed away at the age of 75 on December 19 2022 after being diagnosed with lung cancer. His passing has left a hole in the Leith community and his dear friend Sandra Marshall is planning on honouring him with an art exhibition.

A great giver of charity, poet and founding member of Leith Circle, Garry was always there for people and was described as 'an empath'.
