Tributes have poured in after news broke of the death of Ellen Clifford, the mother of Kerry stars David and Paudie Clifford.
The sad news broke on Saturday that Ellen had passed away and the Clifford matriarch leaves behind three children, David, Paudie and their sister Shelly.
Ellen hailed from Ballymacelligott in North Kerry and it is understood that she had been ill for some time.
Sons David and Paudie are due to line out in the Munster Senior Football Championship final on Sunday against Clare but no decision has been made if they will play in the decider.
Ellen was pictured at last summer's All-Ireland Football final where she could be seen embracing her sons and joined by husband Dermot and daughter Shelly in Croke Park and was also in attendance when Fossa won the Junior All-Ireland football title in January.
