Tributes have been paid to a loving North Belfast mother of two who died following two months in intensive care.
Clare Mahon died peacefully in hospital surrounded by her family on Tuesday, April 25, after she had been admitted to intensive care in February following a deterioration in her pulmonary fibrosis.
Her family had been campaigning for her to receive a lung transplant but sadly it was not approved in time to save Clare.

She has left behind her sons, Aaron and Luke and her partner Bunter and loving family who are all devastated at her loss.
The Mahon family have said they are heartbroken by her loss and have thanked the NHS staff who cared for her in her final weeks.
Her niece Seanain Mahon said: "Life will never be the same without you.
"My sister aunt and friend all in one I will miss you for the rest of my life Clarebell."
Cearài Mahon said that she was heartbroken at the passing of her aunty who was much loved by all of her friends and family.
She said: "We are all heartbroken at the loss of our beloved aunty Clare who has been taken from us far too soon.
"We would just like to thank all of the NHS staff in the Belfast City Hospital intensive care unit for all of their help and support over the past weeks as they looked after Clare."
A statement on Mallon Brothers Funeral Directors said: "Clare Mahon died peacefully at hospital surrounded by her loving family on April 25, 2023. Beloved partner of Bunter, a loving mother of Aaron and Luke daughter of the late Gerry and Anne much loved sister of Jacqueline and Martin. R.I.P.
"Clare's remains will leave her late home on Monday, May 1, for 10.00am Requiem Mass in St Patrick's Church followed by a service in Roselawn crematorium on Wednesday morning at 7.20am. St Pio pray for her. Deeply regretted by her loving family circle."
Many have taken to social media to express their sympathies with the Mahon family, saying that Clare "had a heart of gold" and will be sorely missed.
