Tributes have poured in for a beloved Co Derry man who passed away this week.
Harry McCann, from Desertmartin, was a well known and popular man within the local community. He was a building supervisor at St. Columb's Primary School in Cullion. The school paid tributes to their former colleague online.
They said: "On behalf of the Board of Governors, staff and pupils of St. Columb's PS Cullion, it is with deep regret and sadness to learn of the death of our esteemed colleague, Harry McCann.

"Harry, our school building supervisor, has served the school for over 20 years.
"Most recently Harry took great enjoyment from seeing his wonderful grandchildren come through the school and hearing the words, "Good morning Granda," ring out along the corridors.
"This always brought a smile to his face. He will be greatly missed by us all. May he rest in peace."
A spokesperson for Derry GAA said that Harry was "devoted and dedicated Gael".
"Harry McCann gave a lifetime of service to our association at club and county level," said the spokesperson
"A proud Desertmartin man, Harry McCann was a former Chairman of the St. Martin’s club and also served on the South Derry and Derry GAA county boards.
"Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam uasal."
Tributes also poured in from throughout the local community, paying tribute to Mr McCann on social media.
One wrote: "Very sad news, rest in peace Harry. A true gentleman, who helped so many people and will be very sadly missed."
Another said: "Condolences to all the McCann family, Harry was a lovely man. May he rest in peace."
