Tributes have been paid to brave Donegal teenager who died after a health battle with a brain tumour.
Rocco McGinley, 15, passed away surrounded by his "loving" family on Tuesday morning.
The Junior Cert student was diagnosed with a rare life threatening brain tumour in October 2021 after experiencing symptoms of blurred vision, unsteady gait and loss of power.
A fundraising campaign raised over €300,000 to send him to the US for treatment and he travelled to Texas in early 2022.

His school, Scoil Mhuire Buncrana, announced his sad passing in a Facebook post on Tuesday, writing: "It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our 3rd Year student, Rocco. Rocco passed away earlier this morning surrounded by his loving family.
"Our thoughts and prayers are with his mum and dad, his brothers and sisters and all his extended family and friends. May Rocco rest in peace."
Rocco leaves behind his loving parents, Yvonne and Wade, and his younger brothers and sisters, as well as his extended family and friends.
People took to the condolences page on Rip.ie to pay tribute to the "determined" teenager.
One person wrote: "My heart is broken for you all. I don't think there is anyone in the County that wasn't touched by Rocco, his determination and smile touched the hearts of us all. May he rest in peace."
Another said: "Yvonne, Wade & family, sending all our love on the sad passing of your beautiful boy Rocco. May he rest in peace after his brave & courageous fight. He will forever live on in our hearts."
Funeral arrangements have been announced with Rocco set to repose at his home in Donegal from tomorrow, Wednesday, February 22.
The removal will take place from the house to St Mary's Oratory at 9.15am on Friday with a requiem Mass at 10am and burial afterwards in Cockhill Cemetery.
