Soap star James Caroll has died. The actor, who appeared on Brookside for three years, also appeared in Coronation Street as well as being a member of a band.
He was best known for his role as Brian ‘Bumper’ Humphreys on the Channel 4 soap between 1988 and 1991. However his most recent soap appearance was playing Mary Taylor’s friend Colin in ITV soap Coronation Street earlier this year.
It is understood that he died suddenly. No cause of death is believed to have been confirmed, according to The Mirror.
