Tributes flood in for Paul Beese, 'nice, kind, genuine' man killed in Leeds motorbike crash

Tributes are pouring in for a popular Leeds man who died in a horrific motorbike accident in Seacroft.

Paul Beese, 51, who was on a motorbike was involved in an accident with a van on Easterly Road and Boggart Hill Drive around 6.48am on Tuesday, December 13. He suffered catastrophic injuries and died in hospital.

His tragic death has left his community stunned and engulfed by sadness. Among those hurt is Kelly Bywater, who has known Mr Beese for three decades and described him as a nice, kind and genuine person.

Kelly said: "Omg I have known this man 30 odd years. You couldn't ask for a more nicer, kind and genuine guy. So tragic RIP Paul Beese. Thinking of all the family at this sad time xx."

Kealey-Jessica Jake-Cameron Vinnie described the late Mr Beese as a gentle soul, saying: "RIP Paul such a gentle soul will be missed by so many x", while Martin Griffin said: "I saw Paul recently Tesco Seacroft we went to the same high school, nice fella."

Tracey Marson said: "So sad what a lovely kind hearted person he was RIP sending condolences to his family xxx", and Kevin Nash added: "So very sorry to hear this news, Paul was an absolute pleasure to know. Thoughts are with his family at this tragic time. RIP Paul."

Karen Doyle, who grew up with Mr Beese reminisced on their great times during their childhood, saying: "So very sad he was a good friend of my brothers growing up we had good times growing up", while Kathleen Bavill said: "Just found out god bless you paul always at our house with martin, shaun smashing guy RIP xx", and Steven Tarbuck said: "RIP Paul you always where a nice lad sleep well."

Jane Hirst expressed sadness, saying: "A life taken too soon . Rest in peace Paul thoughts to your family and friends xx", while, Hazel Dove, who walked past the scene said: "It happened at 6 48 yesterday morning we had to walk past at 12 to go to Chemist no buses till last night all going different route. We were told he was badly injured. Its awful poor bloke and family.

"I rang our Mick with him having a motor bike didn't think he would be out on it in this weather but was so scared until I heard his voice. So sorry for this poor man and his family. This is at least 4 accidents in same spot. Xx"
