Tributes have flooded in for a "fantastic" footballer and an "even better person" who died age 28.
Jamie Wynne, a former Connah's Quay Nomads player, died last Friday (September 16). The keen footballer and Liverpool FC supporter leaves behind parents Darren and Dawn as well as his brother Ben.
Jamie represented Connah's Quay Town in recent times but came through the ranks at Nomads before coaching with the club's academy. Nearly 1,000 people were present as Nomads paid tribute to Jamie at Tuesday night's 1-0 victory over Holywell, with players wearing black armbands and a minute's applause taking place, NorthWalesLive reports.
