Tributes have been paid to a "much-loved sister" who died after being hit by a bus in Cardiff city centre. Sheri Omar, 63, from Adamsdown in Cardiff, was declared dead at the scene of the collision on Dumfries Place.
The collision happened shortly before midday on Saturday, May 28 and part of the road was closed for several hours while police carried out investigation work. Ms Omar's family have now paid tribute to her, thanking the public who assisted at the scene.
They said: “Sheri was a much-loved sister to Marie, Corinne, Vanessa, Anthony, Craig, Paul and Lisa who passed four years ago. Today, as a family, we are devastated, and our hearts are broken, as we all mourn the loss of our beloved sister, aunt, and great-aunt, taken away in such tragic circumstances.
