Tribal woman uses money saved up for new house to lay road for Thotagodiput remote village in Andhra Pradesh

VISAKHAPATNAM: In a noble gesture, a tribal woman Buridi Jamme, a community health worker (CHW) from the hilly area Thotagodiput in Andhra Pradesh's ASR district, spent Rs two lakhs that she had saved up for construction of a new house to lay a clay road (proper pathway), a long pending demand of the residents of Thotagodiput tribal village under Jolaput Panchayat of Munchingiput Mandal in the district.

Jamme has no regrets when it comes to her decision.
