NEW DELHI: Several coaches and parents of seasoned and aspiring wrestlers on Friday voiced their demand for the revocation of the exemption granted to Vinesh Phogat, Sakshi Malik, Bajrang Punia and three others from participating in the Asian Games and World Championships trials.
The Indian Olympic Association's ad-hoc panel on Thursday announced a one-bout trial for six protesting wrestlers. Following the decision, the panel faced criticism from the wrestling community for displaying favouritism towards wrestlers.
