Trial told Mongolian woman stabbed in Dublin attack died after irreversible blood loss to brain

A State pathologist has told a murder trial that due to surgical intervention it is difficult to estimate the depth of the injury that resulted in the death of Mongolian national Urantsetseg Tserendorj.

Ms Tserendorj was stabbed in the neck on a walkway between George’s Dock and Custom House Quay in the IFSC, Dublin on 20 January 2021.

A 16-year-old male, who cannot be named as he is a minor, has pleaded not guilty to the murder of Ms Tserendorj but guilty to her manslaughter on 29 January 2021.
