The Jacksonville Jaguars’ second-year quarterback Trevor Lawrence and third-year long snapper Ross Matiscik were back at practice on a limited basis Thursday after sitting out Wednesday.
Four other players, including 2022 No. 1 overall pick Travon Walker, were limited for a second straight day.

On Wednesday, Jaguars coach Doug Pederson said Walker was close to making his return after sitting out two games due to a high ankle sprain.
Lawrence is dealing with a toe sprain suffered at the beginning of December during a loss to the Detroit Lions, but the injury didn’t prevent the quarterback from playing in the next three weeks.
The Houston Texans’ Thursday injury report looked similar to the day before with two new additions:

The most notable change for Houston is the return of starting offensive lineman Tytus Howard after he missed Wednesday due to a concussion.
While the Tennessee Titans appear set to rest starters ahead of a de facto AFC South championship game in Week 18, the Jaguars say it’s “full steam ahead” in Week 17.
