Jacksonville Jaguars quarterback Trevor Lawrence’s status Sunday for a Week 14 road game against the Cleveland Browns is “probably” going to be a game-time decision.
“I mean, he’s feeling good, we’ll see,” Pederson said Friday. “He moved around a little bit yesterday, we’ll see how he does today. Kind of base it on medical staff, how Trevor feels, and if he can go or not.”
Lawrence, 24, missed practice Wednesday, but said in a press conference “I feel a lot better than I thought I’d feel.” On Thursday, Lawrence was back on the practice field for limited work.
It’s a similar recovery timeline from earlier in the season when Lawrence suffered a knee injury against the Indianapolis Colts. On a short week ahead of a Thursday night matchup, Lawrence did a light practice Tuesday after he was estimated to be unavailable Monday.
Lawrence worked out for trainers hours prior to the Thursday game against the New Orleans Saints and was cleared to play. He finished that game with 204 passing yards and a touchdown, as well as a career-high 59 rushing yards.
