Trevoh Chalobah has taken to social media to drop a message hinting at transfers during the same time that both Mason Mount and Ruben Loftus-Cheek took extra steps towards leaving the club.
As a Cobham graduate, Chalobah played with Mount throughout the academy age groups and they won the 2017 Youth Cup in a side that included Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Marc Guehi, Dujon Sterling and Conor Gallagher.
Chalobah himself scored on that occasion, a 5-1 win over a Manchester City side featuring Jadon Sancho, whilst Loftus-Cheek was on his way to playing a small role in the 2016/17 Premier League title win under Antonio Conte.
Four years later and all three of them appeared in the same senior side for the first time in a Carabao Cup game, a day that also had James playing in yet another small milestone for the club's successful academy. Now, not only is Chalobah a potential candidate to yet leave with interest from Inter, his Chelsea teammates are moving on themselves.
Mount has agreed a deal to join Manchester United, football.london understands, and will be moving to Old Trafford for around £55million with £5million in add-ons. After starting his Chelsea career in 2005 as six-year-old. Aged 24 he is now set to leave as a two-time player of the year, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and Club World Cup winner.
Meanwhile, Loftus-Cheek is closing in on a departure after 19 years at the club. He is now an announcement away from leaving his boyhood to join AC Milan for around £18million. For Chalobah, it may well all be a little bit too much change as he posted twice on social media.

Firstly, he tweeted a crying face emoji but later deleted the post. Just minutes later he then wrote: "My boy [crying face emoji, broken heart emoji.]"
Although it is uncertain if he is indeed referencing the transfers or which player he may be aiming it at, it is quite the coincidence and overlap of timing. It is also evidence of just how much change is taking place at Stamford Bridge.
