A number of bus services across Nottinghamshire will be withdrawn. Trentbarton, which runs services across the county as well as Derbyshire, says the company had been "hit very hard" by the coronavirus pandemic and some routes did not recover their passenger levels.
The Conservative Government's Department for Transport asked all operators to conduct a review of services earlier in the year. The services making a loss will now either face the axe or be adapted from October 2 this year.
The news comes as Nottinghamshire County Council revealed it was able to save 19 at-risk routes. Some unfunded services will be cut however.
