Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has admitted it was the idea of Trent Alexander-Arnold to get matching Champions League tattoos following the Reds triumph in 2019.
Jurgen Klopp's men ran out 2-0 winners against Tottenham on the biggest stage club football has to offer three years ago, with goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi enough to hand Liverpool their sixth European crown. Henderson has since explained how Alexander-Arnold had planned to mark the moment by getting tattoos together.
That was until, according to Henderson, the defender backed out at the last minute because his mum refused to allow him to get any ink. As a result, the Reds skipper made the trip to Tommy Montoya's Klockwork Tattoo Club in Covina solo to hold up his end of the deal.
