Liverpool and England right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold has opened up on how the leadership roles of captain Harry Kane and vice-captain Jordan Henderson work within the England camp ahead of the Three Lions' round of 16 clash against Senegal tomorrow (Sunday).
After victories over Iran and Wales and a goalless draw against the USA, Gareth Southgate's men booked their place in the knockout stages of the World Cup as winners of Group B, extending the England boss' perfect record of seeing his team past the group stages at major tournaments to three.
Next up will be a first ever meeting against African Cup of Nations winners Senegal at Al-Bayt Stadium at 19:00 GMT on Sunday to set up a quarter-final clash against either France or Poland, and England's Alexander-Arnold has been discussing the leadership structure within the camp.

With Henderson the right-back's captain at Liverpool but vice-captain with England, Alexander-Arnold was asked by BBC Radio 5Live if there are any differences in the way the midfielder conducts himself when on international duty.
The 24-year-old saying: "I think there's responsibilities of a captain that a captain has to do. A captain makes decisions, you go to the leader of the team if the lads want to train at a different time or the lads think it would be better to train earlier in the day or later on, the lads would go to the captain and I think that is probably the biggest difference.
"But Hendo is still vice captain, so he's still in a high up leadership role so I don't think much has changed. It's just small differences of not wearing the armband but he conducts himself in the the exact same way. He's an incredible leader, as is Harry, so it's good to have those types of players in and around the squad."
The Liverpool right-back has made one substitute appearance for the Three Lions thus far in Qatar in the 3-0 victory over Wales and with both Kyle Walker and Kieran Trippier in the squad, involvement against Senegal is unlikely for the 24-year-old.
