The Treasury "materially contributed" to the death of a worker who took her own life following a meeting, by failing to clarify she would keep her job if allegations were proven, an inquest has heard.
Surrey Coroner’s Court was told on Monday that Chloe Moffat, 26, a personal assistant to a director at the Treasury, died on May 20 last year. Her death occurred a day after managers informed her during a meeting of claims that she had shared sensitive confidential information.
