A new spy thriller is dropping on Netflix later this month, here's everything you need to know about it.
Treason is a new limited series coming to Netflix on Boxing Day, December 26, making it the perfect show to binge during the slow week between Christmas and and New Year's. There are five episodes, which are all expected to drop on Netflix at the same time, so you can watch them all whenever you want.
The limited series is created by Oscar-nominated Matt Charman, writer of Tom Hanks fronted Cold War film Bridge of Spies. Described by Deadline as The Bodyguard meets John Le Carre, expect a host of spy thrills and plot twists.

Here's everything you need to know about the show:
What is it about?
In the show, Charlie Cox stars as an MI6 spy whose past catches up with him in the form of a Russian spy, Kara, played by Olga Kurylenko. Cox's character, Adam Lawrence, ends up embroiled in a love triangle with his wife Maddy, played by Oona Chaplin, and Kara.
The trio end up trying to expose each other's secrets while navigating diplomatic relationships, so it's not your usual spy thriller, but the trailer promises plenty of plot twists and action.
Who's in it?
Charlie Cox stars, best known for his role as Matt Murdock in Netflix and Marvel's Daredevil. He stars alongside Ciarán Hinds as MI6 chief Sir Martin Angelis, who is removed from his post following an assassination attempt.
Russian spy Kara is played by Ukrainian-born Olga Kurylenko. The actress starred as masked villain Taskmaster in the MCU’s Black Widow, and also starred opposite Daniel Craig in his second Bond outing, Quantum of Solace.
Oona Chaplin portrays Adam’s wife Maddy. The actress is the granddaughter of actor-comedian Charlie Chaplin and is perhaps best known as Robb Stark’s ill-fated wife Talisa in Game of Thrones.

When is Treason coming out?
All five episodes of Treason are available to stream on Netflix from Monday, December 26 at 8am.
