Travis Kelce's childhood friend has praised his and Taylor Swift's "timeless" wedding celebration.
The Kansas City Chiefs tight end tied the knot with the Opalite hitmaker at New York's Madison Square Garden on Friday (03.07.27) and his old pal, Grammy-winning producer Smittybeatz couldn't be happier that his friend has found his "soulmate".
He told the New York Post newspaper's Page Six: “All I can say is that it was a beautiful ceremony and a beautiful wedding for a beautiful couple.
“I’m extremely happy for the both of them.
“They turned the Garden into a garden of love and wonderment. It was timeless. Again, very happy for them both. They are soulmates for sure.”
Jermski, Travis' former college teammate shared the same sentiment, and was particularly touched by the emotional moment "when they gave their vows to each other".
He added: “It was the most beautiful event I’ve ever been to in my life."
Despite hosting 1,000 guests at the wedding, the happy couple were determined to speak to all the attendees and ensure they felt "appreciated and welcome".
One unnamed guest told Page Six: “Taylor and Travis looked completely relaxed, even with everything going on. You’d catch them leaning in to whisper to each other and laughing before going back to their guests.
“They made a point of circulating and it seemed like they genuinely wanted every guest to feel appreciated and welcome.”
Despite the vast arena space, the nuptials still felt intimate, which insiders think was helped by the bride and groom's strict no-phone policy.
One guest said: “The room went completely silent during the vows and guests were hanging onto every word...
“The space was completely transformed and guests almost forgot they were inside an arena.
“Nobody seemed bothered by giving up their phones because everyone understood why. It actually made people more present throughout the evening.”
When it came to refreshments, various food stations were set up featuring lobster and chicken, while one had fresh pasta tossed inside giant Parmesan wheels, and another served burgers and fries. In addition, full-service bars were set up in various points at the venue.
Guests at the wedding included the likes of Gigi Hadid, Emma Stone, Tom Hanks, Ed Sheeran, Tom Brady, Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, and Patrick Mahomes but insiders recently insisted it didn't feel like a "typical Hollywood party".
A friend of the couple explained to People: "Everywhere you looked, there were stars, one more famous than the next. But it wasn’t like a typical Hollywood party — everyone was so down-to-earth.
"Stars talked to family friends and were gawking just as much about the vibe and saying how happy they were to be there. There was an electric energy in the room."
