Travis Kelce was very impressed by the Ravens’ overall physicality

Travis Kelce is rapidly ascending towards potential “face of the league” status. He is undoubtedly helped by arguably having the most famous woman in music as his girlfriend.

So when Kelce speaks, people around the world listen, and he’s had some very good things to say about the Ravens, especially their defense.

“They are the bully,” Kelce said of the Chiefs’ opponent in last season’s AFC Championship game while appearing on the “Bussin’ With The Boys” podcast.

“That was a [f***ing] physical team. No. 1 defense in the league. They have the old-school Ravens [mentality] we grew up on.”

Kelce threw in a couple more f-bombs while describing the Ravens, but we didn’t explain that, as this is a family-friendly article.

While that is heavy praise for the Ravens and thus music to the ears of their flock, it’s also bittersweet.

Losing last year’s conference championship game still hurts. Hearing Kelce discuss how strong the previous year’s Ravens’ side was made it feel like even more of an opportunity was squandered.

The road to redemption begins with the season opener when Baltimore visits K.C. for the season opener.

To address the Kelce topic that we know is on your mind, he discussed what it is like to date Taylor Swift later on during this podcast.

He even mentioned his favorite songs by Swift.
