Travis Kelce retirement speculation erupted this week after a social media post by former NFL wide receiver Cris Carter appeared to suggest the Kansas City Chiefs star is heading into his 'last dance' in the 2026 season, prompting backlash from fans who accused Carter of overstepping and chasing attention.
