Travis Kelce had a subtle warning for the Bengals after hearing the ‘Burrowhead’ Stadium nickname

The Cincinnati Bengals are coming off an impressive win against the Bills where the entire team oozed confidence in a tough environment. But just how the Niners used Micah Parsons’ bulletin-board material to their advantage, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce had a similar warning for the Bengals.

We’re just a few seasons into Joe Burrow’s NFL career, and he’s already helped turn around the Bengals franchise while proving to be a huge problem for the Chiefs. Including the playoffs, Burrow is 3-0 against Kansas City with nine touchdowns to one interception. The Bengals were so aware of his dominance against Kansas City that they started calling the Chiefs’ stadium “Burrowhead” in place of Arrowhead Stadium.

The not-so-creative nickname has caught on among Bengals fans too, and Kelce had his own response to it during the New Heights podcast with his brother and Eagles lineman, Jason.

Travis said:

“We are the loudest stadium in the world, on record … 142 decibels. … I don’t know, I don’t know. Maybe we’re gonna have to break it this week because a lot of Cincinnati Bengals fans are calling it ‘Burrowhead’ instead of Arrowhead. They’re throwing a lot of bulletin-board material out there.”

Not that the Chiefs or their fans needed any extra motivation in the AFC title game, but we really might hear that crowd go for the decibel record again after the “Burrowhead” video.

They seem ready.

This was how Twitter reacted

If Kelce is talking about this, it’s safe to assume that the rest of the team knows about it too. Sunday will be a loud one.
