In an interesting twist of fate, a former Cincinnati Bearcats standout is one of the biggest rivals of the Cincinnati Bengals right now.
That of course refers to Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who just hopped on a podcast and wasn’t too kind to Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase, at least in the minds of Bengals fans.
Chase recently earned the ire of Patrick Mahomes, too, while declaring Joe Burrow as the best quarterback in the NFL.
The end result (at least for now, right?) was Kelce’s recent comments. Onlookers, presumably mostly from the Cincinnati area, reacted as one might expect Bengals fans to despite the star tight end’s status as an Ohio native and Bearcats alum.
