Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce publicly acknowledged that he went too far during the Super Bowl when he bumped into and screamed at head coach Andy Reid. Kelce expressed his regret and offered an apology to Reid during an episode of 'New Heights,' a podcast he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce, who is a longtime center for the Philadelphia Eagles.
The incident occurred during the second quarter of the highly anticipated game between the Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers. After quarterback Patrick Mahomes completed a long pass to Mecole Hardman, Reid decided to take Kelce out of the game for the next play. Unfortunately, that play resulted in a fumble by Isiah Pacheco, which was recovered by San Francisco. Frustrated with the turn of events, an enraged Kelce unintentionally caused Reid to stumble.
