Travelodge has upgraded two of its hotels in south Wales as part of a UK-wide multi-million pound upgrade. The UK budget hotel chain has announced that it has completed refurbishments at its hotels in Swansea city centre and Whitchurch in Cardiff.
The revamps are part of the first phase of the firm's "budget-luxe" hotel upgrade rollouts across 65 of its hotels in the UK. The first phase of this rollout represents a multi-million investment for the group and is the largest brand transformation to date.
The new-look hotels have sustainable features including carpet made from recycled fishing nets and plastic bottles, low energy lighting, and aerated showers and taps in the en-suite bathrooms. A contemporary Bar Cafe restaurant has been fitted on site.
