Travel warning as Met Office issues yellow weather warning for strong winds

  • Forecasters are warning of unseasonably strong winds across the south of England, potentially causing disruption.
  • Gusts of up to 55mph are expected to move eastwards from Cornwall through to Sussex on Saturday. The Royal Cornwall Show 2026 cancelled day three due to the weather.
