Mum 'lost her whole identity' after having surgery she didn't need

A mum said she "lost her whole identity" and lives in chronic pain after having an operation she didn't need.

Donna Johnstone said "it's like being in prison" due to the severity of her pain following the spine operation at The Walton Centre.

Since the surgery, the 48-year-old has missed key life everts like her eldest daughter's graduation, can no longer work at her family business and now rarely leaves the house, reports the Manchester Evening News.
