Newly sworn-in Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy has wasted no time in taking charge of his responsibilities. Just hours after being ceremonially sworn in, he found himself at the Federal Aviation Administration’s headquarters in Washington, DC, closely monitoring the developments related to a plane crash in the Potomac River.

The Senate had voted on Tuesday to confirm Duffy's nomination, and he quickly sprung into action to address the ongoing situation. His presence at the FAA HQ demonstrates his commitment to staying informed and being hands-on in his new role.
