Transport Mantri Nitin Gadkari proposes 10% GST on diesel vehicles as pollution tax

New Delhi: Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari said on Tuesday that he is going to propose 10% Goods and Services Tax (GST) on diesel vehicles to discourage automobile companies from manufacturing such vehicles running on “most polluting” fuel.
