Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly holding talks to sign Stuttgart star Konstantinos Mavropanos.
Forest and Leeds were both linked with the centre-back in January following a series of impressive displays by the former Arsenal man.
Mavropanos signed on a permanent deal for Stuttgart last summer after two seasons on loan from the Gunners and while they have been battling against the drop, he has been a standout performer this term.

Now Frankfurt are eager to clinch his signature when the transfer window opens again in the summer with director Markus Krosche said to be keen to add him to the squad.
And according to Sky Deutschland, talks have already begun with a further round of discussions set to follow. It has been claimed that Mavropanos wants to leave
It is claimed that Arsenal have a sell-on clause of around 10 per cent but it remains to be seen whether Forest or Leeds will be tempted to make their move for him.
Last month, it was claimed by German outlet Kicker that Forest were willing to pay 20 million euros for him but Stuttgart did not want to let the player leave.
