A Leeds trans woman, who was pelted with eggs in Leeds city centre, has spoken out about the verbal and physical abuse she's suffered at the hands of bigots and "idiots".
Riana McGovern, 41, has not only been pelted with eggs, she has been beaten up and mocked by yobs. But she won't let that stop her from being her "full-self".
The 41-year-old has revealed the most common forms of abuse she's suffered on a daily basis, with transphobes shouting "Weirdo!" and "Are you a geezer?!". She's also revealed the more traumatic events when she was a young teen "dabbling" with crossdressing.
