A creative horse trainer who struggled to find colourful blankets for her miniature horses at competitions has found a 'huge gap in the market' and now makes matching outfits for horses and their owners. Lana Grieve, 34, who owns six horses, five of them miniatures, used to sell horse blankets but branched out into the world of equestrian fashion by designing coordinated human riding clothes, so owners can match their pets.
She loves to showcase her own gear consisting of colourful leggings, t-shirts, sweatshirts, hats and accessories, by dancing around modelling them with her tiny horses. Her TikTok videos which have been liked over 6.2 million times frequently go viral, with fans falling in love with her 'cute' dancing ponies.
Not only is Lana's wardrobe now stuffed with matching outfits, she has also turned her keen fashion nous to set up a thriving company that has become a six-figure business. Lana, from Willits, California, US, said: "When I started my line for horses, it was after I saw a huge gap in the market, nothing existed which fitted small horses correctly.
