Train strike: Up to 50% of the rail network crippled due to latest industrial action

Train passengers will face fresh disruption on Saturday because of another strike by rail workers in the long-running dispute over jobs, pay and conditions.

Members of the Rail, Maritime and Transport union (RMT) at 14 train operators will walk out meaning that up to 50 per cent of the services will be running across the network.
