A tree falling on to train tracks in Nottinghamshire has caused disruption for commuters. Train operator East Midlands Railway (EMR) reported the blockage on the Mansfield line at of 6.38am March 10.
There will be disruption to services between Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop until the tree can be removed. East Midlands Railway says it is currently unable to run any of these services,
East Midlands Railway tweeted: “There is a tree blocking the railway line at Mansfield, we are currently unable to run any services between Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop until the tree has been removed. Further information to follow once known.”

EMR added: "There is a tree blocking the railway at Mansfield. Network Rail have a team on site preparing to remove the tree, due to the size, this is proving difficult. Our services will continue to be suspended between Nottingham, Mansfield and Worksop until further notice."
