Train drivers in Scotland will have an offer of a 4.2% pay rise put to them by their union as the country’s railways look to get back on track in the near future.
Aslef and ScotRail continued talks on Thursday and a new deal could be subject to a ballot by union members, Kevin Lindsay, Aslef’s organiser said.
Drivers have been unhappy with being asked to work rest days and on Sundays, with the disagreement seeing ScotRail cut over 700 services last week.
