'Tragic reminder': 16yo dies in Xmas alcohol poisoning

A family Christmas lunch turned deadly when a 16-year-old boy drank himself to death after consuming more than a dozen alcoholic drinks.

The teen, who lived in Echuca with his parents, had been permitted to drink sips of alcohol from the age of 15, the Victorian Coroners Court was told.
