The season three premiere of The Cleaning Lady on Fox took a dramatic turn as Thony de la Rosa, portrayed by Élodie Yung, faced the consequences of her actions. The premiere episode saw Thony and her partner Arman, played by Adan Canto, getting entangled in a shootout while trying to smuggle Fiona back into the U.S. on a private plane.
Tragically, the storyline involving Arman took an unexpected turn following the news of Adan Canto's passing due to appendiceal cancer. The showrunners had to adjust the plot to honor Canto's character and the actor himself. Despite the challenges, they decided to continue exploring Arman's backstory through Thony and Nadia, played by Eva de Dominici, to keep his character alive in the narrative.
