A four-year-old girl has died after a tragic incident in Sligo.
Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene at Enniscrone earlier on Friday.
It is understood the child was hurt when she was struck by a vehicle. She was rushed to University Hospital Sligo where she has since died.

A garda spokesperson told the Mirror that a family liaison officer has been appointed to support the family.
They said: "Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene of an incident in Enniscrone, Co. Sligo this afternoon, Friday, August 5, 2022.
"A 4-year-old child was injured during the incident. She was taken to University Hospital Sligo where she has since passed away.
"A family liaison officer has been appointed to support the family at this time.
"No further information is being made available".
