A man has died after being hit by a car in Leeds

On Tuesday, July 5, Leeds Live reported a man was fighting for his life in hospital after being hit by a white Audi A4. He was crossing the road at 4.55pm at the junction of Town Street and Wortley Road, and was later taken to hospital with a bad head injury.

In an update today (Thursday, July 7), West Yorkshire Police confirmed the 42-year-old has sadly died. The force have arrested a 30-year-old man on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
