Tributes have been paid to a "beautiful" mum and social media influencer who has died just days before her baby's first Christmas.
Rachel Mee, also known as Rachel Kaitlyn, was a doting mum to her nine-month-old son, Kyro, who she had previously described as "my sunshine" to her thousands of followers on social media.
The 25-year-old, from Blyth, had over 42,000 followers on Instagram and worked as a model on OnlyFans. She also owned a custom clothing business, Rachel Mee Crystal Creations, selling jewelled clothing and accessories.
She sadly passed away on December 18, prompting an outpouring of tributes as well as fundraisers in her memory to support her little boy. One GoFundMe page set up by family friend Chris Coppen has already raised over £5,000, while another, titled Kyro's Future, set up by friend Claire Robinson has raised almost £500.
Hundreds of donations have already been made in Rachel's memory, including over 300 to Chris' GoFundMe page, which will help towards the cost of Rachel's funeral, with any left over funds going towards baby Kyro's future.
Many have also left touching messages on the pages in tribute to Rachel. One person wrote: "Blessed to call you a friend. You have left a hole in my heart. Goodnight, god bless."
Another added: "The world is a darker place without your smile x" A third said: "I'm going to miss your beautiful kind soul so much. You didn't deserve the struggles you had, I wish I could have helped you more. A complete Angel before you gained your wings. I love you girl, fly high. I hope you are at peace."
Tributes have also flooded in on social media to Rachel, "who touched so many people's lives".
Reb Beka said: "You were the most beautiful girl inside and out and a wonderful mummy to Kyro I’m sure your family will always tell him how kind and loving you were. It still doesn’t seem real that you’re not going to be back dancing again or posting for mummy recommendations.
"I hope you’re at peace now with your mam and dad. Thank you for what you did for so many, you’ll never be forgotten."
Kayla Riley added: "My heart goes out too all of Rachel’s friends, family and of course her little boy Kyro. My heart is so so heavy today, I can’t even come to terms with what’s happened.
"I am heartbroken. I hope you’re at peace now angel."
Amanda Nicole said: "I am beyond devastated you are gone Rach. My heart is breaking right now, for you, Kyro your family and friends.
"Everyone at the school will miss you more than you'll ever know. You are so so loved and we will never forget you. You were an inspiration to many and it was an honour to have you with us.
"Fly high Mamma Mee. We love you forever and will miss you with all our hearts."
Rachel's cause of death has yet to be confirmed.
