A "fit and healthy" teenager was left in a coma after he suddenly collapsed after football training.
Kieran Prescot had just finished a training session with his teammates when he suffered a cardiac arrest.
The 17-year-old, from St Helens, was given CPR before being rushed to Whiston Hospital and put into an induced coma.
