A Scottish pensioner was tragically found dead on a bus travelling from Edinburgh after falling off of his seat in front of other passengers.
The man had been believed to be asleep on the CityLink bus service running from Edinburgh to Glasgow before he was discovered to have passed away.
Emergency services had rushed to the scene at the Swinton Roundabout in Glasgow on Monday afternoon (October 17) after the turn had seen the 69-year-old slide off his seat.

Realising something was wrong, horrified passengers alerted the driver with paramedics and police called out to the coach.
An eyewitness told the Daily Record: "The guy fell off his seat at a roundabout and that's when people realised something was wrong as they thought he had just been sleeping."

The 69-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland have since confirmed they are not treating the death as suspicious.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police were made aware of a 69-year-old man having taken unwell on a bus at the Swinton Roundabout, Baillieston, Glasgow, around 4.45pm on Monday, 17 October, 2022.“Emergency services attended, however the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
“The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
