Bonfire night nears ever closer and we will soon begin to hear the sound of fireworks in the autumn sky.
This year bonfire night falls on Saturday, November 5, but you can expect to find organised displays taking part around this date.
This year Trafford council will not be hosting an organised bonfire or display event in the borough. They join other Greater Manchester councils including Manchester, Stockport, Oldham and Bury in not providing a council display in 2022.
However there are other private displays planned.

Bonfire Night is celebrated every year in commemoration of the failed gunpowder plot which sought to blow up the House of Lords and King James I in 1605.
The plot was famously initiated by Guy Fawkes, which is why some people refer to the holiday as Guy Fawkes Night.
Here is a breakdown of confirmed displays taking place across Trafford. Let us know if you would like one included by emailing newsdesk@men-news.co.uk.
