ScotRail update

A number of updates have been issued by both ScotRail and Network Rail Scotland on Monday amid disruption to public transport.

As it stands, services between Inverness and Edinburgh and Glasgow Queen Street will be cancelled delayed or revised.

Network Rail said in a statement: “We’ve had to close the Highland Main Line at Kingussie, due to river levels on the Gynack Burn rising above safe limits.”

A separate post meanwhile stated: “We’ve closed the Crianlarich-Oban line, due to a report of flooding between Tyndrum Lower and Dalmally.

“Our control room is arranging for a response team to attend, to inspect the track for any potential damage.”
