The new boss of an East Lothian community pub which caused a local outcry after it was put up for sale has promised to make it more 'family friendly' in the future.
The Tower Inn, Tranent, had been open for nearly 120 years when its owners decided to put it on the market last summer.
Residents were left devastated when it was announced that it had been sold at the end of the year with plans for a "residential" project expected to go ahead.
