LUCKNOW: To discuss the road map for boosting the economy of the state, the association of traders held a conclave on Saturday. Raising their demands before the UP government, the office-bearers of the association discussed the hurdles they face in daily operations with minister of state Dayashankar Dayalu and mayor Sanyukta Bhatia.
President of the federation of tent traders' association Vijay Kumar said, "We have appealed to the government to ease the process of filing GST and hold training sessions for traders. We also highlighted how a section of policemen and civic officials harass traders in this business."
President of Adarsh Vyapar Mandal Sanjay Gupta said, "On the directions of the government, we are holding conclaves to sort out issues of different categories of traders. On Saturday, issues of tent and catering businessmen were taken up."
