With fewer than 90 days to go to Christmas, many children are starting to make a note of what toys, gadgets and games they want to see in their stocking this year. And it appears that ordering Christmas presents may be a nostalgic experience for some parents and carers this festive season, as Toys R Us has made its long-awaited return to the UK's virtual high street.
Toys R Us ceased operations back in 2018, with some of the toy store's former branches still laying empty several years later. But that does not mean the Toys R Us website is barren too, as the popular toy retailer is currently selling 14,000 toys from over 100 different suppliers, The Sun reports, after making a return just in time for the festive season.
For parents who want to get their Christmas shopping over and done with as soon as possible, customers can get free delivery on all purchases over £20 and next-day delivery is available for orders placed before 6pm. Welcoming Christmas list-writing children and their parents back to the popular toy store, the Toys R Us website reads: "We're back! We can't wait to develop and grow with you and your loved ones, over the coming weeks, months and years!"

Toys for children of all ages are available to purchase on the new website, along with bikes, scooters, and skateboards, which some children of the 90s and 00s may remember rebelliously riding around on in the chain's stores back in the day. Fanatics of franchises such as Toy Story, Marvel, and Star Wars are in for a treat, as Toys R Us is stocking a sizeable collection of fun toys from all of them.
The American toy retailer has also relaunched its Babies R Us range, offering all the must-have items for parents and their little ones. From classic Little Tikes Cozy Coupes to nursery essentials, Babies R Us offers an extensive range of products for babies and toddlers as they grow and develop.
Customers can peruse the toy retailer's huge range of products for various age groups by using the search function on the new website. Toys R Us offers products for children aged from birth to eleven plus.
The standard delivery charges at Toys R Us match those of Smyths toy store, which charges £2.99 delivery for orders priced between £10 and £20 and £4.99 on orders below £10. However, The Entertainer charges £2.99 delivery for orders under £39.99, with orders over this price delivered for free.
