This weekend saw no new big releases sandwiched between last week’s The Odyssey premiere and the upcoming Spider-Man: Brand New Day. However, just because the Top 3 stayed the same doesn’t mean there’s not plenty of cause for celebration and introspection in this week’s Box Office breakdown. Toy Story 5 crossed $1 billion globally and now stands as the highest-earning movie in the franchise domestically. But how does its pull compare to 2026’s other juggernauts?
We’ll discuss all of that below, as well as The Odyssey’s second weekend in release, as it raked in another $87 million in the U.S. and Canada (per The Numbers). That’s quite impressive, even considering the competition wasn’t exactly fierce.
